Message OK.. so i got the kit like years ago. I just did stockplayerz's like 2 weeks ago and he had extra nuts included in his package (no puns there please). I go install my kit this weekend at sportzcoops' place... no nuts. Just bolts and washers. WTF!!? I feel cheated but i guess that's how they came with the first batch.. ok, no biggie i guess so i'll reuse my old nuts BUT....

the bottom passenger side front nut stripped because of a weird angle trying to break it off and now i'm screwed. I tried to dremel the bolt/nut off (slicing it) but i went thru all my bits trying to cut it. So now i'm fucked. I have no extra nut but i'm borrowing it from stockplayerz's leftovers.

The weird part is that the hard part (driver side) went without a hitch. We got all the bolts on and off without taking off the brakemaster cyl and we that was a trick move. THe hard side went easy and the easy side went hard.

The tech "day" went into the night (11 pm to be exact).

So how did the shit hit the fan??? well, ya'll know about the camber kit. That started after super late lunch/ dinner.

Yes, the spoiler doubled up as a table... thanks Stillen; for once they came up with something kinda useful without ripping us off.

ok.. so during the camber kit install that ran into the night, Sportzcoop decided to move this car to get more light on the issue of the camber kit only to find that his FPR was still leaking somewhere. And now we start the hell of working on 2 cars at once. stockplayerz was kind enough to host the Yankee game with his car but more into that later...

Ok.. so we get his FPR off and he decided to replace some of this hoses since his mechanic didn't do a totally good job. We took off one of the fuel lines from the filter to the fuel rail to replace it only to find that the Pep boys fuel line that he got was a little to big for the "fuel line condom".

Pete and I at work and Mike taking a pic of it.

Me working on getting the FPR back into place with ghetto screws.

So.. after all this hell, mike's belt started to squeel. It was dark, late, and cold to work on anything so we decided to call it a day. Stockplayerz goes to start his car... didn't start. Battery went low with him playing the game on his radio. No one at the Sportzcoop's place had jumper cables so stockplayerz and sportzcoop goes out for a hunt for cables late into the night. I get changed and wondered how a battery could be tapped in a couple of hours of just playing the radio. Mind you that he started his car every so often when he had his lights on for us to work on my car and pete's car. I wasn't going to accept that his battery was dead so while they were out trying to find a place that had jumper cables, i hopped in and just started to crank his car until it started. Took a while (like 4 seconds of cranking) before it turned over but it did and that's what counts. Called them up to give them the good news.

Well, another tech day before the season goes to hell i guess.

Any suggestions as to how to remove that bolt/nut off???!! I went got a nut cracker but it was too big to fit into the cramped suspension stuff. The shit part... I need the camber kit on my passenger side more than the driver side.

How now brown cow?
